Will Allen attend the Habitat for Humanity Affordable Housing Debate on April 13?

Allen:

On April 13, Habitat for Humanity of Oregon is hosting a gubernatorial debate at PSU, moderated by Rey Ramsey.  Will you attend and share with the voters your take on affordable housing issues?  We at Habitat (I'm on the board) are eager to give the candidates an opportunity to spread their ideas on solving the housing issues we face.  We believe in simple, decent, affordable home ownership, but the spectrum runs from temporary housing to foreclosure issues.

Please share with us what you believe.

Sincerely,

Don Smith

I hope that he will attend.  In this time with the extreme housing situation we are facing, it is important for our elected representatives to be aware and proactive.  How can our state address the continuum of housing needs - homeless, transitional housing, rentals, homeownership?  All of our communities are facing housing challenges.  I would be interested to hear his views.
